I ask this H1 B question before, but I want to ask more on it. Please help.
Currently, I want to apply H1B FY2005 which requires US Master/PhD. I have passed the final defense(end of May), and satisfy all the degree requirements. However, the offical diploma will only to me in the late August.
Right now, I got a letter from the University said "XXX has completed all the requirements for the degree..." and sent to lawyer. But she siad this sentence should be wrirren as "xxx has earned a degree of Doctor of Philosophy from the University of xxx".
Do you think the present letter is OK, or I really need ask another letter as the lwayer indicated? Since the commencemnet will be end of August, I do not think the university will write the letter in this way. Can you give me some suggestion, how can I do it? I should submit the application using the current letter or not?
