If one buys house in HK, one needs to prepare to get numerous phone calls from many agents. And you even don't know where they get the phone number. I sold the house and began to rent the service apartment.
If you want to invest house, invest in US now. I have bought several properties online. The agents in US most are very reliable. After the transactions were closed, I went to California to take a look the house. The yard are big and the house are in very good shape. I rented one easily for more than $1000 US dollar. so so much cheaper compared to the HK house. And you have the land. In HK, you only buy the part of buildings.
So if you have money, go to US to buy and leave all those expensive HK houses to HK people themselves.
