How to Wind the springs?

Garage Door 的 spring 爛了~ 換了個新的 spring 但是不知道要多少turn? 

網上有人說

30 quarter turns for a 7-ft.-tall door and 36 quarter turns for an 8-ft.-tall door.

請問是什麽樣算的?  謝謝~
