US politicians were bought out by the country’s riches first (such as by the car manufacturers, so federal government retrained from building public transportation in order to raise the car sales/ everyone has to drive a car), then by Netanyahu (e.g. US fought Netanyahu’s middle eastern war for him) and now by Putin. Because those politicians can be voted into their office just by astronomical political donations and the manipulation of public opinions via the controlling of the media outlets, manufactured social crisis… instead of serving their voters.
I'd say, politics has to be separated completely from the money and professional lobbying need to be banned.
