It's all because of external pressure. If no pressure, CCP won't change at all. Starting from the fallout of the Qing dynasty, Japanese invasion, Chinese civil war, culture revolution, Tian ‘an meng square to now Putin/Trump's cold war with China. The downfall of USA and the west is because of the drug addiction, like the end of the Qing with bad leadership, unfortunately.
So, what's the CCP's plan/mechanism for the next generation leadership? If it's not because of the external pressure, CCP's leadership transition almost failed in 2022. Did CCP forget what happened on 10/22/2022 when Xi expelled the ex-president Hu, Jintao out of the conference in front of the world, with the excuse of Alzheimer? Yet no one dare to confront or stop that? Talk about change, if no external pressure, no CCP party member will dare to stand up for basic morality.
