CCP should strike a balance btw show of force and secrecy.

I thought US visa and immigration policy is and has always been to deny any Chinese student/ scholars that is associated with PLA or a CCP/ communist youth party member?

One of the recipes for success is interaction / collaboration with domestic and international entities. You can not just sit at home shut your door and hope you can invent something new. You need to go out and see and hear what other people are doing/ talking. And hopefully by collaborating with others and to draw inspiration during the collaboration, you will discover/ invent something that’s new and useful for the society. And that’s one of the strength of US academia, which is wide-range collaboration and interaction with domestic and international players. Also, Americans talk a lot and are very exploratory, unlike Asians.

Peace through strength doesn’t mean you have to tell your enemy everything you have. Strike a balance between the targeted show of force and state secrecy. Do you know everything your enemy has?

In a society with division of labor, each one of us plays different roles. How can politicians strike better balance between state control and free market, to safeguard law & order and people’s livelihood? How can militaries better defend the countries and avoid conflict? How can teacher build better, more efficient and inspiring education? How can researchers discover, innovate and contribute more to the society… Everyone plays their own roles. And that doesn’t mean teachers need to know how to fire a rocket and how many ships we have. We all need to perform better on the roles that we are taking. Together we will make a better society.
