Foreign students're just cheap labor, not really innovator

   Foreign students definitely reduced labor costs for US R&D and academia. But honestly speaking, I don’t think the most significant innovation was done by those foreign students. From what I see, many of those foreign students will eventually become cheap research labor (with different titles of course) but few of them will really become innovators. There could be multiple reasons such as visa restriction, language barrier, culture barrier… It is still those Americans that innovates. I don’t know why.
