I’m a 75 year old Asian American who has been watching your show from the beginning. When we were in our early 20s my husband (Army) was stationed in Hanau, Germany. I read everything I could regarding Germany’s history especially about the rise of Adolf Hitler. We visited Dachau with some friends and came away so depressed that we consoled ourselves at a bar called “The Yellow Submarine.” We asked over and over again, “Why didn’t people say anything? Didn’t they know what was happening?” Well now I can see how that happened because I see history repeating itself in our own country! When Trump came down the golden escalator in 2015 to announce his candidacy I turned to my husband and remarked that if he was elected president we’d have our very own American Hitler. I felt it in my gut. I’ve got a degree in psychology, but you don’t need that degree to instinctively react to what Trump is going to do in a 2nd term. So many are now involved in his gaslighting and sane washing his despicable behavior. So thank you and George Conway for speaking out and doing something to bring Trump’s cognitive decline and dangerous psychopathic tendencies forward to the public sphere.
