Russian counteroffensive operations in Korenevsky District of Kursk Oblast reportedly continued, with some Russian sources saying that as much as 165 square kilometers had been retaken, and Alaudinov saying that "about 10 settlements" had been recaptured. These operations came amidst a Ukrainian redeployment of troops from Kursk Oblast to the fighting near Pokrovsk, which according to a Ukrainian milblogger gave Russian forces the upper hand in Kursk.[188][189][190]
