In another exchange, Wray told Rep. Kevin Kiley (R-Calif.) either a bullet or a piece of shrapnel “is what grazed [Trump’s] ear.”

周五，FBI說：

對周三和周五的說法，我看沒有太大的差別，都是說，是子彈或者是子彈的彈片，實質是一樣的。 都沒有說是玻璃擦傷。周三director是提出了問題（說不確實是子彈或彈片所傷），周五的statement並沒有這回答問題，隻是用確定的口吻說是子彈或者子彈的彈片所傷。
針對周三的話，川普大為惱火，說
"FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress yesterday that he wasn’t sure if I was hit by shrapnel, glass, or a bullet (the FBI never even checked!), but he was sure that Crooked Joe Biden was physically and cognitively "uneventful" - Wrong!" Trump wrote on his on social media site.
看來是川普自己加上了玻璃傷的可能性，篡改了FBI 頭頭的話。川普認為周五的說法更和他的意願，認為FBI周五的說法是對自己頭頭在周三說法的一種道歉。
"I assume that's the best apology that we'll get from Director Wray, but it is fully accepted!" Trump wrote on Truth Social.
