Americans don't want to contain China. It's Putin and his MAGA followers who are jealous of Chinese progress and want to contain China.
You are correct about average Americans’ income. Actually, I think the majority of the US tax revenue probably comes from average Americans' paychecks: sales tax, Medicare/Medicaid, Federal income tax, State income tax, city income tax, property tax........ At least 1/3 of the paycheck is taken by the government at the time of deposit. Not to mention the mandatory spending on car insurance, gas, mileage, car maintenance each month in order to get to the workplace. The lack of public transportation and infrastructure makes labor costs and other basic business costs extremely high in the US.
Do you know if you are the top 1% in US, you are likely not having to pay taxes? Because US corporate owns US and its politicians. Therefore, US tax law is tilting towards those 1% with tremendous amount of tax loopholes. But those tax loopholes won’t be applicable to average Americans because they don’t own their own company or rental properties. Do you know in the US, the capitalists have tremendous power over their employees? Not just the employee’s livelihood, but their lives too? Before 2010 (Obamacare, even though Trump tried to abolish it), average adult Americans' health insurance was tethered to their employers. There’s no way you can buy reasonable health insurance on your own if you don’t work. (Most good doctors don’t accept Medicaid) Which means if you don't have a job, you don’t deserve to live. I bet they didn’t put those in their immigration pamphlet. Or else, no immigrant wants to live in US anymore.
You are correct about financial crimes. And I’d say look out for those financial crimes that will benefit Putin, via real estate developers, online gambling... Putin operates like a mafia boss, seeking “protection fees” from others, engaging in illegal operations probably via bitcoins, in order to stay afloat financially.
