這真是個瘋狂的多數黨不敵少數派的時代。。。

好消息，GOP有了一個新的議長候選人！

壞消息就是看來還是不會通過。據說已經有20個眾議員會反對了。

多數黨又如何？一黨之內還能達成民主共識嗎？拭目以待。

 

Texas Rep. Troy Nehls said the opposition to majority whip — and now Speaker-designee — Tom Emmer has put the conference exactly where they’ve been for the past three weeks: at an impasse.

“We already had upwards of 20 who said they could not support Tom Emmer,” he said. “We are again back to where we started.” Nehls himself voted present when his name was called, he told reporters.
