感覺按人世間的、這個地球的標準來衡量好壞，基本上是沒有標準的，什麽叫做好的生活，什麽叫一輩子過的好？沒有一個客觀的標準。
但是如果按佛教的世界觀（或其他基督教的世界觀），就可以有很客觀的標準，佛教的標準就是“解脫”，能認識佛性、明心見性，這輩子就算成功了。因為，解脫後，從此不再迷惑。事還是要繼續有，但是心就不再迷惑了。類似科學認識，日蝕繼續是日蝕，月食繼續是月食，但是不會再迷信天狗要吃月亮了。解脫後就不會再恐懼、掙紮了。
