“I’m gonna tell you a story. She is engaged to him. Then she flewwwwwww to the U.K. to make a film with him, and broke off her engagement with him. And married him. Then they moved to Los Angeles and the three of them have been inseparable.”
其中，“I” 的角色是“電影明星 Steve McQueen”; “She”的角色是“電影明星 Sharon Tate”；“She” 訂婚並解除婚約的是“Jay Sebring”，當年的明星化妝師；“She”去倫敦拍片子並隨後嫁給的是“電影鬼才導演 Roman Polanski”（記住這個名字的竅門是“波蘭斯基”）；“Three of them”是說“Sharon Tate”， “Roman Polanski” 與 “Jay Sebring”。
這是“Steve McQueen”在該電影一次明星聚會時給一個吃瓜觀眾“講人事關係”的場景。如能把原場景的視頻貼上來，大約一分鍾講明白。但是，Tarantino是控製狂，他的電影在油管上基本沒人能貼，沒辦法，隻能“文字敘述”。
