受難日問上帝：我這樣算不算撒謊？

不久前，係主任問我：聽說你們中國最近科研投入特別大，是這樣嗎？

說老實話，中國最近科研投入情況，我還真的不知道。但我當時毫不猶豫地說：是的是的，特別大。

係主任告訴我，係裏的另一個中國教授去找校長了。他告訴校長，現在中國科研投入特別大，如果這次他的課題費批不下來，他就會中國去了。校長馬上給能源部寫了一封信，說了這個情況，還順便提了奧8總統不要輸給中國的意思。結果，這哥們的經費還真的批下來了。不過，也許沒有這個，也是會下來的。

我在想，我這麽回答係主任，算不算撒謊呢？
