Good food for thoughts. Education of kids is a big topic. How to do it right for kids own growth as parents can vary a lot for different kids.  To balance discipline versus creativity is a tricky issue. My experience is to give more freedom to disciplined kids, and to enforce more structured work on less disciplined ones.
