    新西蘭第二個天鵝湖位於新西蘭旅遊排名第一的羅托魯瓦景區，稱為羅托魯瓦天鵝湖。此湖是由於20萬年前的火山爆發凹陷後而形成的。
這也 是人鵝最親近的一個天鵝湖區域。由於此地區為熱氣噴發區域，湖畔四周，充滿了濃厚的硫磺氣息，並伴隨著眾多飛鳥的啼叫聲， 有著其獨特的景觀。這兩個新西蘭天鵝湖，也是世界遊客必遊的兩個知名景點。
