BHP Billiton signs £38m IT services deal

CSC will manage applications and infrastructure

The oil division of Anglo-Australian mining and exploration group BHP Billiton has signed a five year, $53 million (£38 million) IT services deal with CSC.

BHP Billiton Petroleum’s global IT operations will be managed by CSC across 10 countries. CSC will provide helpdesk, desktop, midrange, network, high-performance computing and telecommunications services, as well as application management.
