Hi, if you are involved in junior golf, you'll see how many Korean kids are actually playing. They are well represented in top level junior comps, especially girls. Koreans often have a harsh training regime for their kids, too harsh for my taste.
Golf is indeed a bit more expensive and time consuming than most other sports. On the other hand, Australia has probably the lowest price for golf, with the possible exception of the U.S. So if you're interested, this is a good place to play. Golf is not just for the rich in Australia. Everyone plays.
