HELLS Angels boss Derek Wainohu has been stood aside from his job at the
Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) pending an investigation, NSW Premier Nathan Rees says.
Mr Wainohu works as a grade 10 officer with the RTA, earning about $100,000 a year as a safety equipment technical expert.
The bikie, who has worked at the RTA for 17 years, was reportedly put on a good behaviour bond last year after being convicted on charges of affray, possessing an offensive implement and using unlawful violence.
