I met an eight year old boy a long time ago. he was the only Asian in his school. He asked his mum why he looked so different? For kids, or teenagers, it's easy to have a self-identification crisis.Even in China, if a girl or boy is too different, he/she is easily isolated from peers. People growing up here socialise with entirely different circle of people from us who come here adults.
