I just checked CCS' website, the tuition and fee is more than double when I was there, kinda sad and scary, as my wife and I are paying our son's tuition and fee now... As far as safty issues in Detroit, it's a lot better than most people think. The school is in the culture center, surround with universities (Wayne State Uni.), medical centers and museums. The Detroit Institute of Art is next to the CCS campus, students can access the DIA for free.
