that's why don't translate it into jia because of the cultural difference. It's an either-or issue, not a matter of right or wrong.
It's pretty much like calling someone a poet which has the corre*****onding translation 詩人 for that anyone who writes poems often can be sort of called poet without necessarily requires professional training. :)
