I was dying

You used Your death to save me from death

You sacrificed Your life to give me mine

You saved my life

 

Injured

Mourning

I was crying

You collected the pieces of my broken soul

You stitched them into a white garment

You gave me life

 

Anointed

Praising

I am rejoicing

You are the only name I can depend upon

You are the only reason for my breathing

You are my life

 

Blessed

Laboring

I am running

You set a goal for me to win the prize

You called me heavenward in Christ  

Lord take my life

 

Lord take this life

To help the lives in darkness

Lord take this life

To trade my life in Eternity

So one day when I see You face to face

I will receive the crown of life
