Something (you don’t deserve)

This is not about something you have

This is about something you don’t have

If He had not died for you on the cross

You will never get the righteousness to be admitted into heaven

Even though you pay the price of your life

 

This is not about something you see

This is about something you don’t see

He is a spirit with all wonderful merits

Remember to fix your eyes not on what is seen but on what is unseen

For only what is unseen is really eternal

 

This is not about something you understand

This is about something you don’t understand

He is in heaven and you are on earth

His ways are higher than your ways and His thoughts than your thoughts

Just surrender and follow Him like a child

 

This is not about something you deserve

This is about something you don’t deserve

Why should God leave His glorious throne

To be born in a cold manger in the open air on a chilly winter night

Just for giving you a mansion in heaven

 

O the dreadfully great God

The boundlessly loving God

The more we are trying to fathom You

The more we adore You

The more we fear You

The more we love You
