M-103 is the first step toward Canadianistan

(2023-04-14 06:02:29) 下一個

In 2017, the Canadian parliament passed Motion 103: SYSTEMIC RACISM AND RELIGIOUS DISCRIMINATION

Freedom of religion should not reduce freedom of speech. The premise of freedom of religion is that belief is a private affair and that the state should not interfere with religions. However, any religion that goes outside the private boundary by infringing on public interest and even interfering with our legislation is a danger to the principle of separation of state and church. I am not against Islam as a religion. What I am against are those who make religion a social movement and a political movement. Whoever cannot follow their movement is labeled as Islamophobia. M-103 is the first step to turning Canada into a caliph.

We had the Chinese Exclusion Act in our history that singled out one ethnic group in our law. It was unfair to that ethnic group. M-103 single our one specific religion, and this is unfair to all other faiths and beliefs. Our law should be blind regarding race and religion. Any legislation specifying a specific ethnic group or a specific religion is wrong. M-103 is destroying Canada. No religion should have specific privileges above the public interest. M-103 will entitle Muslims to enforce halal food in our public schools and no one can criticize it. M-103 will enable Muslims to enforce Sharia Law in Canada and no one can criticize it.

The language of “Islamophobia” in M-103 is wrong because there have never been systematic racism and discrimination against the Islamic community in Canada. The only systematic racism and discrimination that happened in Canadian history were the Chinese Exclusion Act. If our government wants to prevent systematic racism and discrimination happen again, please replace the wording of “Islamophobia” with “Sinophobia”. Please use a real reference, not a hypothetical one. If Canadians do not have the courage to face a real one, then we are yielding to the pressure of Sharia law by passing Motion M-103.

There are more cases of Islam extremists terrorizing the public than insignificant events of extreme Islamophobia. If a terrorist does not represent the Islam religion, then neither Islamophobia represents the whole public. Comparing the numbers of violence of both extremes, we should condemn Islam extremism more than Islamophobia. If we avoid mentioning Islam when condemning terrorists, please don't mention Islamophobia when we condemn xenophobia.
