For a vision, restless and unshaken
Left its seeds while I was forsaken
And the whisper that was planted in my mind
Still resides
Within the power of silence
Through endless dreams, I walked alone
A thousand voices, out of tone
Beneath the glow of a hollow sun
I turned my collar to the cold and numb
Till my eyes were lighted by a shooting star
That split apart
The quiet power of silence
And in its fleeting blaze, I saw
A sea of faces, lost in awe
People reciting without meaning
People sleeping without dreaming
Sketching hopes in colors that would never blend
Yet none would bend
To wake the power of silence
Listen, I cried, You need to see
Silence is the key to be free
Catch the light of the stars that fall
Feel their fireembrace it all
But my words, like snowflakes, softly fell
And vanished in
The hollow land of silence

And the people knelt and prayed
To the bogus gods they made
While the halos burning its decree
In the words they chose to heed
And the walls declared, The Saviors truth is carved in stone
