看到國內有人指責即將上任的美國駐華大使，也就侃一侃這個老話題。
在對待海外華人這點上，歐洲和北美有明顯的不同。歐洲基本上是民族國家，我知道有人會說德國有幾百萬土耳其人，法國有幾百萬北非穆斯林，但這都還是社會邊緣人群。所以歐洲人沒有美國人那麽有PC意識，說話就直一些。
年輕時在歐洲工作或旅遊，別人從不聽我解釋我是美國公民，就是把我當中國人看，到了大城市觀光帶我看中國使領館而不是美國的，中國體育隊贏了比賽大家都向我祝賀，美國隊贏了就沒人通知我。也許有人說，像你這樣的親共憤青，別人當然把你當中國人看了。錯！老夫也年輕過，特別是入了美國籍之後也是整天價唱 I am proud to be an American.
不管在歐洲還是北美，華人要想當地人看見你的臉孔還不把你當中國人隻有一個辦法是有效的。其實很簡單，就是逢中必反，比當地人呢還要堅決，極端，讓別人對你的印象除了反中沒有別的。具體做法如下：
平時見到任何人，開口就是"Have you read about the Jasmine revolution in China? I can't believe the Chinese government forbids its own people to peacefully gather! I sometimes doubt these people and I are of the same race, uhh!";
要麽就是“I am really upset that President Obama is buying into that Chinese cr-p about high speed rail. Does anyone believe the CHINESE are going to make anything like high speed train up to OUR SAFETY STANDARD? So I came all the way to America only to ride on trains made in CHINA? God help us”;
或者 "I almost threw up when I saw the Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremony! What a scam, I mean there are people in China dying of malnutrition, and they are spending billions so they can look good?" （這時旁邊一個土生美國人插話"I actually like that ceremony a lot, and I don't see anything wrong making it great despite the country has other problems, at least we in the US do not wait until all our problems are solved before we have a good time"，華人立刻反駁 "Tom, you are so naive because you had never lived in a totalitarian country, I have, and that's why I left. I do not want to see that country ever again "）；
又如：
中日在釣魚島發生了衝突，就堅決站在美國盟友日本這邊，譴責中共有侵略性的對外政策；
中國恢複對日本稀土供應，就指出中共是最大的賣國集團，譴責中共軟弱無能的對外政策；
國內的富二代做惡被報道，就說中共官場黑暗，當官兒的就敢胡作非為；
國內的貪官逃到美國避難，就說中共官場黑暗，連當官兒的都怕，是“精英”出逃；
國內過去沒有高鐵動車，就說日本新幹線設備先進，中國的硬件一百年也趕不上；
國內現在有了高鐵動車，就說日本新幹線理念先進，中國有了先進的硬件也沒用；
中國過去奧運金牌很少，就說世界人口最多的國家隻拿這麽幾個金牌，太落後，沒希望；
中國現在奧運金牌第一，就說人家印度不象中國好大喜功，反正中國的金牌不代表全民；
大家隻要照此法去做，就一定不會遭受被當地人誤認為是中國人的尷尬了。
