     此專輯《Murder Ballads》的中文譯名是《謀殺情歌》，不要被這個名字嚇倒，這張專輯正是探討了“愛到死亡仍是愛”這樣的一種撕人心肺的各種可能的情形。這首《Where The Wild Roses Grow》回憶了一對男女，在一見鍾情後的三天裏發生的故事：第一天，男的遇到了女的，然後他問她哪裏有大片盛開的野玫瑰；第二天，她帶著他去看了那個地方，他送給她玫瑰；最後一天，女的死了，他與她吻別，然後對她說所有美麗的事物都會死掉，他放下一枝玫瑰在她微微開啟的牙齒上。

　　美好的愛情實在太短暫了，就像那野地裏的炫麗玫瑰，花季一過，就謝了。這確是一個比較唯美的愛情故事。有時，愛情恰好是一種姿態，把它放在心裏麵，而不是現實中，還是很美的。
