攝影器材都保了險，是在Home Owner Insurance基礎之上的additional
coverage，原名叫Inland Marine，保險公司的人好像更喜歡叫它personal items。這個險種的特點是zero deductible，保被盜，自己犯錯造成的損壞，甚至mysterious disappearance。這次丟的器材裏D800, Tokina 16-28/2.8，24mm/1.4，腳架都保在Inland Marine裏，而別的因為新買不久沒來的及或價值已低（D70）不在這個特殊險裏，隻能從Home Owner’s policy去claim，但有1000刀的deductable。要claim損失，最重要的文件聽上去是那個accident/damage/police report，其次是找到所有能證明ownership的發票或別的東西 （D70隻有user manual，Laptop隻有shipping packing slip和機器的quick guidance，公司都認可了）。計算是指根據丟失物品的age折舊，但Inland Marine保的物品應該是full original replacement。希望給我的是一張支票，而不是器材，因為有的器材已停產了。
