離 rump and a head with a horn on top.

Rum, strange,古怪的,離奇/特的.

I may say horn is an image of strange, which is abnormal, 　 divorce, at some degree, could be regarded as abnormal.

　離 is connected with:

亂,thread tangled by two heads.

　離亂, therefore, are brothers, 小不忍則亂大謀, we dealing with others should be more generous, da4 fang. It may refer an attitude. Da4 fang is not equal to stupidity, but we heard that: it is hard to play a fool.

　離小,不離大, for small things, be more accommodating, for people, more amiable, but for a real mean person, avoiding is the best move, that needs after 謀,　離 is not negative word, after divorce, one may enjoy a life of certain freedom.The key is deliberating,we may keep away of unnecessary divorce, and chaos.
