走馬 \'Tibetan Plateau\'

When I was at the Palace Museum,
I invited four Tibetans to
my dormitory, which is right under
one of the corner towers,
also at the foot of the Jing Mountain.

But that is not the
"Beijing's Jing Shan" for them,
for they looked tiresome and
showed no happy expression...

Many years have passed,
I myself more like those Tibetans,
but no one here invites me in,no,
as if each one lives
within a screen.

I want go to a tropical region,
where everyone is warm and
as close as an old friend,
I want to get out my cage,
making the past life to an end.

That is a mysterious land,
where were artist Chen Danqing
as well as one of my couzens,
but I've never bene there,
yearning to go along the road to heaven.

I will go to the "Tibetan plateau",
concentrate on my research,
for speedup of my book writing,
follow those pilgrims,
prostrating at every few steps.

Who will sing "pao3 ma3 liu liu"
on the "Tibetan plateau"?
who will work and play with them?
that will be me, also invite you.
