both of these portraits are so beautifully painted! I admire the way you keep the values light without sacrificing the illusion of space. There s a veracity about these--they are full of life, not frozen into a pose.

同少年,正茂 2008-12-26 One of my ancestors participated in a meeting with Mao and a dozen other persons in Hunan first Normal School. I will paint an oil painting to present to Shaoshan Mao's memorial Hall. 在湖南第一院, 我的一祖有機會加了毛一12人集. 我一油長沙毛念。
I've sent my work of "Kinstler, Silverman, Green and Drape". Within a month, I've enjoyed a great deal for this experience.The encouragement from my friends at "wenxuecity" are a secret weapon for this completion
I appreciate PSA, notebly your lasting effort, let this world-level event, this "Oscar" of portraiture, sucessfully glorify our art world for the first decade. This scale of portraiture triumph was never happend in China, and here also, surpassed all other art associations, become an officially, the only true national art exhibition. I feel a great honor to be associated with those great masters.
Some shortcoming were unable to be corrected until now. I may send you the corrected image if you allow.These obvious defects are partly due to my bad luck of two years when I was robered, beaten, harassed by other bad men and stopped working entirely for a year.
I must say thanks to Cynthia Daniel for her support.
For the next conference, I propose to present my research on I-Ching and int result on my discovery of composition. I'll send you some draft later.
