Lost Characters

EP and I are now 12 episodes into season 2 of Lost and I want to summarize my most and least favorite characters as they are standing today.

My favorite is Sayid, hands down.

Sayid kind of grows on you.

He's not handsome, even among the Arabs. But man, isn't the guy resourceful! Strong, knowledgeable, skillful AND with conscience!

Last but not the least, he has a sense of humor too. In the episode before Shannon died, Sayid built a tent for her, decorated with flowers and candles. So Shannon asked him: does this mean we are now into serious relationship?

Sayid said: no. I do this for all the girls I meet on deserted islands.

So smart!

My next favorite is of course Sawyer.

This guy has no bad hair days. I wonder what kind of island shampoo/conditioner combo he uses... ; )

Besides being handsome, body and face, Sawyer is real. Genuinely flawed. And God so charming!

Now the least favorite character. This is tough, because there are so many candidates!

For now I have to say Locke the bald old guy. He's a nutcase. An island-religion frantic. Early on in Season 1, I thought this entire "thing" - these folks' experience with plane crash and island living - is all his mind game. His blind religious belief in the island is annoying me to no end.

Runner-ups for the least favorable character include:

Kate - phony phony phony. A constant liar.

Charlie - why is he still in the show? Why isn't this useless character already killed off? Why why why?

Ana Lucia - who made her the God? A person who shows no mercy to others should receive none.

are you serious? after i have been broadcasting it (my likes, dislikes) for almost 2 years? ; )

in all fairness, i don't always judge characters adequately or act accordingly. however i would like to think i have learned my lessons well!

i think what attracts me in a man is that he's
funny, smart, mature, caring, kind, grounded, resourceful and strong; and preferrably handsome and tall

i would like him
not to pretend to know things that he does not; not to be rude/mean to people who are "weaker" than him; not un-humble

anything else?
