【內容簡介 】：

女孩麥斯，原本是基因實驗下的產物，多年前她和同伴逃離實驗室後失散，此後一直生活在恐懼中，當時美國因遭到恐怖份子用電磁波攻擊而陷入一片混亂， 她在認識羅根後一改原本獨善其身的態度，開始為民除害。
　　本片是TV劇集《DARK ANGEL》的序章。《DARK ANGEL》是大導演詹姆斯·卡梅隆親自策劃並製作的近未來科幻劇集。今年更是有他監製的同名遊戲發售。女主角憑借此片火速上位，近年來被譽為好萊塢最性感的年輕女星之一。
　　不少電視紅星都希望躍上大銀幕，但憑《末世黑天使》(Dark Angel)成功上位的傑西卡·奧爾芭(Jessica Alba)，卻樂於繼續當電視圈的阿姐級人馬。最近才剛滿21歲的傑西卡·奧爾芭出生於軍人家庭，雖然家教極嚴，但她卻自小便向往演藝生涯，經她多番請求下，其家人才讓她入讀演藝學校。
　　12歲那年，傑西卡·奧爾芭終於得到別人賞識，開始客串電視小角色，並於1993年進軍大銀幕，在處女作《Camp Nowhere》中有出色的演出。後來她憑演出兩個大型電視廣告而開始受大眾注意，終於能在多部電視劇，包括《Flipper》、《末世黑天使》等擔正演出。而她更憑《末世黑天使》贏取了People's Awards中最受歡迎電視明星獎，甚受年輕一輩擁戴。
