【內容簡介】
　　NBC的2004年最新喜劇劇集.也許是“六人行”後的又一部力作~~主要是敘述一個三流演員闖蕩好萊塢的有趣經曆……
　　揮手作別相伴十載的“Friends”，Joey也告別在紐約成家立業的老友們，來到陽光燦爛的洛杉磯繼續追逐他的明星夢。LA住著他的姐姐Gina，一位火辣性感、容易興奮的美發師，同時也是一位未婚母親，她的天才兒子，20歲Michael，是一位研究火箭科學的研究生，由於無法繼續忍受母親Gina無微不至的照料，Michael搬來與舅舅Joey同住。但Gina仍對兒子放心不下，天天都要來照看寶貝兒子有沒有被花花公子般的Joey所帶壞。缺少書本知識的Joey與不擅長人際交往的Michael正好形成了互補，Michael也在 Joey的指點下開始了自己的追女仔計劃。

【看點】
　　Joey的事業和愛情的發展是此劇的最重要的看點之一，也是作為喜歡《六人行》（老友記）的人在Joey續集中最關心的。第一季第10集成為喬伊事業上的重大轉折點：Joey與其侄子Michael的相處；與其姐姐Gina之間互相的扶持；Joey本人不甘平庸和其獨特的“處世哲學”；其代理人波比的指點和鄰居愛麗克斯的重要引薦，都成為Joey在一個大型晚間情景劇集《deep powder》充當一父親角色的鋪墊。Joey的事業從此芝麻開花節節高，而與愛麗克斯之間曲折的愛情之路也就此展開……
