But you are right about the american tennis. american tennis can't compete with football, basketball and baseball for the best talents. Tennis is just not a popular sports in school. Kids who play tennis in the US are leftovers from the above mentioned sports, that's why you rarely see an american tennis player with great athlectism. Pete Sampras was a rare one because he was spotted early (before 10)by Dr. Fisher.
