Twilight glistened in the sky as a torrential storm thundered down on the vast landscape of Motherwing. A large willow swayed in the harsh wind, the downpour forming an eerie white mist around the great tree. Skysearcher’s eyes gleamed a bright amber through the haze, his broad wings cutting through the air in large, powerful strokes. The shadows of large creatures flew around him, their growls echoing and guttural. A herd of mahogany brown horses carelessly nibbled at the grass beneath them, their dark manes plastered to their neck.
One of the horses perked its head towards the sky, braying and rearing in alarm as they spotted the veiled creatures that soared with Skysearcher, their forms masked by the billowing rain. Skysearcher reared, breaking away from the Wing of dragons, swooping in large circles above their forms, observing with sharp eyes. The herd started into a panicked gallop, the thunder of their hooves creating billows of dust clouds that mixed with the wind and rain, veiling the herd in a thick fog.
