One problem with China

Why China didn't compromise 6 months ago? 6 months gao, the price should be not so big. 

Plus, the cards were in Chinese hands 6 months ago. But now US has the cards.

If Xi Jinping is as GREAT as he claims, why he is doing such a silly thing?
