我們沒有買保險除了那個 Monte Negro 的 mandatory 責任險

Avis Europe 有一個很詳細的 decline insurance 的網頁 我們給 Split 的 office 看了。他們最先嘗試 authorize $35000 我說一定會被 declined.  果然。然後我說你們想清楚了，什麽金額比較合理，否則 bank 再次declined 就會鎖卡。租車就黃了。他們吱吱喳喳一會 決定用 $7000, bank 還給過了。不過 Chase preauthorization 隻有一個星期有效。旅途中這個 $7000 preauthorization drop off 了。(Amex card 要兩周 第二周 cardholder 看不到 pending, 但其實 it is reflected in the available credit amount.) 車子在 Hvar 民宿門口泊車時前方下麵蹭了一點，因為 LG ignored both the BnB lady 和我的 hand signal to tell him stop right there but insisted to move ahead a bit!    回到 Split 後 民宿的小夥子用車臘和棉紗把它弄成 not noticeable.  交車時我們特別指給收車的工作人員看 以免後患。 他一看就說 It is OK, You are fine.
