西雅圖和溫哥華遊記（多圖）

<p>上個月乘女兒回家兩周期間，我們全家到西雅圖和溫哥華玩了一趟。行前得計劃去哪兒，住哪兒，看什麽（包括女兒的興趣），怎麽去。上網參考了一些旅遊攻略。早些年旅遊沒做好功課，結果該看的地方錯過不少。下麵是我們玩的線路圖。</p>

<p>晚上乘西南航空直飛西雅圖.上了飛機發現很多乘客是去度假的。估計相當一部分是準備從西雅圖乘遊輪去阿拉斯加。原以為小朋友多會吵鬧，結果不久就十分安靜。（去年在東京飛北京的飛機上，一位幼兒由老人帶著不停的哭鬧）。我開玩笑的說這些小朋友是跟著爸爸媽媽，所以不鬧。幸福啊！

<br />這次旅遊我們租了三天的車主要是因為要去溫哥華。西雅圖飛機場的所有的租車公司全在附近的一座大樓裏，大巴統一把租車的旅客都帶到那裏。這樣做的好處是避免機場交通擁擠，省錢省時，皆大歡喜。

<br />第二天我們開車前往維多利亞. Victoria是在溫哥華島，其中一路是從Port Angeles搭汽車輪渡前往。途中經過一小城，Navy Yard City， 發現了一個軍事秘密。原來美國航母，軍艦的建造基地在這裏啊！可惜造船廠不讓參觀。隻能遙望。</p>

<p>中午時分到達Port Angeles。附近有Olympic National Park就過門而不入了。聽說加拿大油比美國貴，所以我們加滿油箱。還在Walmart買了一些水果，準備在路上吃。到了港口才想起新鮮農產品是不能帶出國的。寫到這裏我不禁有點抱怨：美國和加拿大除了國旗，貨幣和不用英製以外，其他都相通，幹嘛分那麽清楚？從陸路去阿拉斯加還要先出國然後回國。恐怕隻有美國才有這種情況。更有趣的是一美國小城，Point Roberts，居然在加拿大的一個半島內。每天出門就是出國。 要不然隻能乘船。見下圖。</p>

<p>言歸正傳。從地圖上看，西雅圖和溫哥華很多地方得靠輪渡。下圖是我們要乘的輪渡。有趣的是輪渡調頭是靠在中部的柱子為支點扭PG。並不是我原先想象的倒退靠岸。</p>

<p>輪渡一天有三班。輪渡班次可在網上預訂，要不然就要排隊等空位。尤其是有車的。岸上的車眼巴巴地看著我們離開。對不起囉！</p>

<p>航行一小時左右就到達了Victoria。往左拐不久就到達British Columbia Legislature Building。相當於中國的省人大。所不同的是人民在這裏可以自由進出。</p>

<p>下午我們就前往大名鼎鼎的The Butchart Gardens。該花園是由Jennie Butchart在一廢棄的石灰石礦從1904年開始建立的。裏麵容納了世界各國花園的精華。可以毫不誇張的說：“看了此花園後，別的就不一定要看了！” 其中的Sunken Garden尤為著名。晚上還有彩燈和音樂會。在花園裏舉辦婚禮一定是十分浪漫的。</p>

<p>在花園餐廳用完晚餐後，老天開始下雨。門口放著很多雨傘讓遊客使用。後來發現很多屋前都有免費雨傘。也不怕遊客帶走。令人感到十分溫馨體貼！

<br />離開花園後我們連夜趕到Departure Bay。搭乘當天最後一班渡輪前往North Vancouver。 這裏渡輪更大，有雙層甲板可載車。</p>

<p>次日我們前往著名的Capilano Suspension Bridge。該橋建於1956，長140米，高70米。後來在附近又建了樹橋和懸崖橋。</p>

<p>我們還去Stanley Park逛了一下。除了大以外並沒有什麽特色。女兒喜歡逛農貿市場，我們陪著去了一趟。</p>

<p>溫哥華市區交通十分擁擠。沒有環城高速。現代派的雕塑實在看不懂。</p>

<p>隔天我們從Pacific Highway過境。通關速度極慢。足足等了近一個小時。實在煩透了。大部分入境的車是加拿大BC牌子。看來是到美國掃貨去了。過境時海關還問：“有沒有到中國城買東西啊？”我說中國城美國到處都有，沒必要在溫哥華買."聽說溫哥華的中國城很差，我們也沒興趣去。下午我們（我的興趣）順路到波音飛機工廠參觀,Future of Flight.看波音747，777，和最新的787裝配線。747看來是被空客的A380打敗。裝配線上的747都是貨機。參觀時不允許帶照相機等錄影設備。其實我覺得裝配線沒啥秘密，電視上經常可見。工廠外麵停著客戶訂購的客機。其中有海南航空的787客機。停車場旁邊有希爾頓賓館。看來是用來招待波音飛機客戶。</p>

<p>然後我們到西雅圖的農貿市場(Public Market)去逛（女兒的興趣）。豬市興旺？</p>

<p>市場邊有一堵牆，Gum Wall。密密麻麻的粘著各種各色的口香糖。看了都覺得惡心！</p>

<p>當晚住在機場附近的旅館。剩下幾天在西雅圖市區遊覽，搭乘公交火車更方便。沒必要自駕了。順便說說西雅圖公交火車不必刷票上車，隻有一次遇見查票的。我們買了西雅圖的City Pass。它包括了西雅圖6個景點。可省46%的門票費。但是它沒包括Chihuly Garden and Glass。但憑City Pass可省5塊錢。我們後來才知道。西雅圖有四個景點在同一地方。Space Needle是西雅圖的地標。高184米。塔上除了觀景台，還有旋轉餐廳。我們上去時還看到下麵一層在舉辦婚禮。</p>

<p>在EMP博物館看到用肉做的長裙。實在不可思議。</p>

<p>進入花園玻璃博物館Chihuly Garden and Glass。美輪美奐的玻璃花令人流連忘返。</p>

<p>在飛行博物館我們還看到冷戰時期叛逃到韓國的米格飛機和超音速高空偵察機。</p>

<p>我本來還想“拜訪”Bill Gates的家（有遊船可路過）。無奈女兒不感興趣，隻好作罷。西雅圖是個好地方。附近有幾個國家公園。交通十分方便。可以考慮退休安家在此。嗬嗬！</p>
