Hello Again, Disneyland - Back Home

April 3 was the day we drove back home.

One again we were in danger of missing the breakfast hour and fortunately caught the tail end of it. This was the room where we had breakfast for the last few days.



There was at least one child at every table :-).

It was about 11am when we were finally ready to hit the road. Here Luke and Leia Skywalker showed off their newly acquired light sabers before geeting into the car.





My daughter picked a green blade because that's her favorite color, and as for her little brother, it's because that's the color of Luke's light saber.

I had to give credits to both kids - they behaved very well all the way back home. We did stop for lunch at around 2pm. Here was my flatbread greek chicken from Quiznos sitting on a McDonald's table..



Why? You may ask. There were both Quiznos and MacDonald's at this particular exit. The kids voted for McDonald's, and I would never set my foot in there if given the choice. So for simple lunch, the Gardenia family split into two - I picked up flatbreads for the growups at Quiznos, and then we then went to McDonald's for the kid's meal!

We were home at sometime past 6pm. "Home, sweet home" was what my son said upon entering the house :-).

The end of one spring break, and we would now be looking forward to the summer break.
