I don't know about the cruise. What we did was to fly to Anchorage, rented an RV, then drive Parks Highway North 5-6 hours to Denali National Park. Stay in the park for 2-3 days, then drive back south on Parks Highway South then Seward Hwy South to Seward. The driving on both direction were beautiful. In Seward, you can take a day cruise to Kanai Fjords National Park (See the sealives and Glacier). Also walk to see the Exit Glacier. Can do float or rafting on Kenai River, etc.
I feel 自駕遊 is very good too.
