After 09/15 still hi season

Hooray, I can fly to JAC instead of SLC but need to go thru DFW (not good) and overnight at DFW, on AA award.

I am going after 09/15, most likely 09/19 due to availability of award seats on AA.

They just canceled my 09/17 seat from YVR to DFW and I cannot get it back after spending 30 min with a very helpful agent. The earliest I can leave YVR is on 09/19 if I dont leave on 09/16.

To get to JAC in Sept AA said I have to fly down to DFW and then fly up to JAC. Since I will fly in DFW on last flight from YVR and fly out DFW to JAC on first (and the ONLY FLIGHT) out, the overnight in DFW is legal (not considered as stopover).

I am going to Yellowstone NP site to check the accommodation to see availability.
