Starting from August 1st, 2024, Stanford University's next president will be Jonathan Levin, an economist who currently serves as dean of the graduate business school (GBS) at Stanford and whose association with the university dates back to his undergraduate days in the 1990s.

  • BS in math & English, Stanford
  • MS in economics, Oxford
  • PhD in econnomics, MIT

His father, Richard Levin,  was President of Yale, from 1993-2013.
