這首1989 美國年歌（bill charts），來自電影《Beaches》，為的是悼念早死的朋友（希拉裏，兩女主角之一），本歌原唱 Bettie Miler 在電影中演CC（她的律師女友死了），然後這歌響起……

希拉裏（芭芭拉·赫希飾）和 CC（Bettie 貝蒂·米德勒飾）小時候在新澤西州大西洋城度假時相識，幾十年來一直是朋友。當CC，一個大聲的紐約人，追求歌唱事業時，希拉裏，一個古板的加州人，成為了一名成功的律師。多年來，她們經常爭吵或競爭，但是，隨著其他關係的興盛和消亡，這兩個女人總是互相支持，從一個海岸走到另一個海岸，度過最動蕩的時期。
