看到有人問公校和私校對等問題，看到一個有意思的比較，見內

UC Berkeley is the public equivalent to Stanford because they both have strong departments in all fields and schools and both are tops in engineering. The University of Michigan is equivalent to Harvard. The University of Virginia is equivalent to Yale. Both UM and UVA have strong professional schools and highly respected undergraduate programs. UM is stronger than UVA in STEM, as Harvard is stronger than Yale in STEM. William and Mary is probably the closest public equivalent to Princeton. They’re similar in that they both have very few professional schools. Georgia Tech is the public equivalent to MIT. The University of Texas is the public equivalent to UChicago.
