當時在阿爾加維的法魯(Faro),突然收到郵件說因為罷工,回波爾圖的火車班次取消,另附文件好像列出有每天保留一大早一個班次。
因為回程那天是當天從西班牙轉過來直接走,早班銜接會有問題,另外郵件全是葡萄牙文,不太確定。所以當即到法魯車站想問明情況,找到解決辦法。
當時已經快晚上8點了,大廳裏沒什麽人,結果那個窗口裏的葡萄牙女人極不耐煩,不僅不願意回答問題,甚至衝阿曆克斯大喊大叫,說她什麽都不知道,你要改簽我就給你改簽。
阿曆克斯哪裏咽得下這口氣? 當時記下了她的名字,回來後在鐵路公司網站填了投訴表,收到簽收回複。
過了大半年,阿曆克斯氣已經消了,早就忘了。有一天突然收到鐵路公司郵件:

In this case, we made the refund of the tickets, to the account associated with the card you used to purchase the tickets, according to the document we enclose. The bank transfer takes about 4/5 days.
不僅退了阿曆克斯的車費,還退了同伴的, 因為是一起買的。
阿曆克斯收到錢,立刻感到春風化雨,對葡萄牙人的好感有增加了幾分。
