我現在持J1 visa, 明年9月底到期。正準備申請 J1豁免，豁免過程一般是4-6個月。未婚夫持綠卡。現在看到8月綠卡配偶申請無排期的消息，覺得機會難得。但我的問題是，我有可能搭上這班車嗎？有無可能我現提交J1 豁免，8月或9月底同時提交 I－130，I－485？我的時間應該怎麽規劃？ 謝謝各位老大！
-Yes, but USCIS will send you RFE for the J-1 waiver, and if you can not provide it, your I-485 will be denied (of course you can re-file it in this case when getting J-1 waiver and the PD is current). Also, you can not extend your J-1 after you file I-485. So, if your J-1 still has one year or more to expire (J-1 waiver may take about one year or more to be approved), then if it is worthy to file I-130 and I-485 together next month.
