回複：請問8老師關於遞交485後等待排期期間續延H1B的問題

5月份的排期是到2008年5月15日，我們差幾天沒趕上，但是舊H1B到8月份到期，為安全起見，決定申請延期。

看了8老師的教材，申請H1B延期不會影響已遞交的485吧？

我們想先遞交主申請人的H1B，而副申請人的H4拖延一下到六月份再交，如果那時候能拿到卡片，也許可以省幾百塊錢，這樣可行嗎？
-Yes. As long as you file it before the H4 I-94 expires, it will be fine.

還有，是不是H1B主申請人申請延期，副申請人即使已經遞交485，也得申請延H4?
-Not necessary. Pending I-485 allows your spouse legal stay even if she has no H4 status.
